So It Begins…

In four short days (technically three since I’m writing this after midnight) I will turn 24. Birthdays are normally a thing to make me very excited, but I haven’t been excited about this number following me around for a year. I mean what happened to 22 and 23 they were here then gone in an instant. I realized I didn’t want this to happen again. I didn’t want to go through another year and not be able to count the changes that I made, the good and bad times I had, and the people I shared them with.

I decided to do something about it. I called a friend told him my idea, bought a domain, and host and started thinking of ideas of things I wanted to do before I turned 25. I thought of 52 challenges, one I will complete each week, along with 8 daily and weekly tasks I will do. Each week I will write about my adventures and by the time I’m 25 I’m sure I will have had one of the best years of my life!

    Week 2?
    Week 3?
Should one of your tasks be to find someone to hold you accountable? This is a resplendent idea until you don’t follow through.
Revisit the excitement you felt when you started this page. There will be many distractions this week. What a better time to prove that you can push through them and complete another week for the other 100.5 readers.

  • You are so right Reader #1.5 and yes, I do have a friend who is helping me and keeping me accountable! I do agree the weeks will get hard, but I know if I allow myself to truly use this year I will grow more than I know.

    Thanks David! Glad to inspire!
